Media and Text block

I’m sorry to admit I’m very disappointed with WP. It’s been praised as a website builder which is both efficient and easy to use but unfortunately it’s neither. For a person who cannot write code, as myself, it’s impossible to make a custom layout, even a most simple one. Just one example: with the “Media and Text” block there’s no option to choose the size of sections, and the media section doesn’t have an “Edit as html” option at all. If I try switching to Group instead, the layout looks even more ugly. What a constructor it is if it lacks the most basic things like choosing the size?
