media Attachment page: open in new tab, return to original post

I like to put images in a gallery, and have them open in an attachment page. that way people can “like” individual images and share to Facebook, I get more adsense page views, comments, etc. etc.

Is there a way to
a) have the attachment page open in a new tab?
b) have a link on the page to return to the original article, the one the image is linked too. Even cooler would be if clicking the image itself took one back to the article.

there are previous/next clicks for the gallery images, so it seems a “return to (title)” link would be logical.
