• When this plugin is activated, media attachment pages return page not found error and post id redirect URLs do not work (i.e. “?p=100” where 100 is the post ID of the image). It redirects instead to the attachment page and gets the 404 error. I have disabled this plugin until this is resolved.

  • Hello,

Please note that when you create a Single Page/Post Template that you assigned to your pages/posts, you should ensure to have included the Post Content Widget as this Widget is required when building your Single Post/Page Template, because the Widget is meant to display your post content, so if you haven’t used it in the Single page Template, you will encounter this error message.

If you read through the beginning of this article,https://elementor.com/help/post-content-widget/ it was mentioned that your post/page won’t load if you don’t use the Post Content Widget in your Single Post/Page Template.

So make sure that if you have assigned a single page template to pages, it has a post content widget.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the error I described.

@machineitsvcs Hi, were you able to solve this problem?

I’m having the same problem myself, once I turn off the E plugin everything works fine but when I turn it back on, the media permalink redirects to page not found instead of the media attachment itself

This has not been resolved. I just cannot use Elementor. I told one of my clients to get a refund for the Premium version because it doesn’t seem support is handling the issue. We’ve decided to start using SiteOrigin Page Builder for now.

We are facing the same issue, if we deactivate the Elementor plugin the media permalinks are working correctly.

Another thing we tried, upload the media and attached it to a new Elementor page directly and this seems to work, but not if we upload the image using the media page.

Same error here, plugin disabled by the moment.
