media categories not showing up with block editor

  • When using the block editor, I add an image block and go to select an image from the media library. There is no choice to “filter by media category” I have to sort through all images in the library.

    Hi @sayrahrah,

    I am not sure why. I test EML 2.8.2 with WP 5.6 and all works well in the block editor using an image block.

    Could you please tell me your version of WP and EML?

    We are using WordPress 5.6 and EML 2.82
    Another problem:
    Suddenly today even using the classic editor when we assign media to a category, after we leave the library and then come back to the library the media is not assigned to a category.
