Media Cleaner does not scan

    Goodnight! I hope you are well!

    I need some help, I’ve been using Media Cleaner for three months, and for an update here we had to uninstall the plugin.

    When the systemic update was over, we performed the plugin installation again, but after the new installation, it no longer works as expected, or as it worked before

    I’m using the latest version of wordpress and the plugin keeps scanning for over 60 minutes and doesn’t find unattached images.

    I’m afraid he might not have access to the entire folder.

  • I am having the same problem. Been scanning and scanning and nothing is being found.

    I messed with the Advanced Settings settings and I think it’s back, I’m doing new tests

    I wanted a button back to the original config

    It started working!! Don’t know how accurate, however, it did give us some results.

    So I can’t say, what would be the default or ideal configuration for certain servers/site

    Hi,

    When an issue rises, absolutely check your Console logs and also your PHP Error Logs. I am enhancing many things on my plugins these days, and it’s possible that something might happen. I think the plugin still work perfectly, I have my own battery of tests, and thousands of daily users, so I am usually aware of big issue almost instantly. But for more localized issue, I need a bit more debugging to understand what’s going on. I am here for you guys, so share everything you can with me ??

    Hey Jordy, thanks for chiming in man. I have been trying for a week to get a scan to run and it doesn’t throw an error code, but tells me it just stops. I turned my settings to the absolute slowest, and the scan keeps stopping without an error code. Thanks for any insights, let me know if I can share more deets.

    I can’t access those screenshots unfortunately ?? Can you put them somewhere else?

    Also, you can check your PHP Error Logs, it might help.
