Media editor broken on main site, works in other sites of multisite installation

  • I added some new media to my main site today, but I can’t edit the images (crop, etc)– it shows a broken link. The image editor works fine on the rest of my sites. I haven’t changed any plugins at all.

    Any ideas about how to fix this?

    Disable all your plugins and change the main site’s theme to Twenty Fifteen. See if that works.

    I think I’ve got a theme problem. I deactivated the plugins, changed to 2015 and the media editor works. Change back to the old theme, it doesn’t work. Added in the plugins, and the media editor works in 2015, but not in my current theme, which is a child version of Path Theme. I think that the theme author does provide support via Theme Hybrid, so let me see what I can find out. I would prefer not to change themes if I can help it….I will keep you posted.

    Theme Hybrid, in and of itself, should work.
