• Hello,

I’ve been working with the Media Library Folders plugin and have run into an issue, all my images have disappeared from the website.

The plugin was working great and allowed me to organize the media library exactly how I wanted. Access the images files with the regular media library and the large amount of pdf’s with the Media Library Folders plugin.

To make things extra simple for the end user, I took one extra step, and hid the regular 2016, 2017 & 2018 folders in Media Library Folders, not realizing that this would remove the images from the standard WordPress media library.

I’ve gone ahead and removed the “mlpp-hidden” file from those folders, re-synced them and now see all the images back in the media library.

But stil they don’t show up on the website.

Now I’ve tried to add them from the server from the Media Library and am getting all kinds of errors both in the admin dashboard and the website itself when the images should be. I’ve been working with my webhost and now all the errors are gone but still no images on the website.

Not sure what to do or if this is even fixable anymore, but was hoping with one last ditch effort to reach out and see if you’ve encountered this before and/or you can assist me in fixing it.

Any help, direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

As you can see, the files have been removed from the media library. The easiest thing to do is to restore from a backup. Otherwise you can remove all the thumbnail images from the folders and then run the Sync function on each folder. The thumbnails will be regenerated and you will have less files to deal with while syncing.
