    Hi,

Can I have a big media file listing/choices to experience and select from?

I am wondering if with this Order Form, one can have a user select an option, like “Music Choice” or “Animation Choice” and then a large organized listing (maybe pop up window or page I create on my site for example to handle the volume) appears for them to choose from, being able to play the media file (I host) to listen/watch it first to make sure they want that?

I want them to be able to see the choice and play the media file so they can select it while ordering.

Specifically, I offer my video clients choice of video files (animated graphics), fonts, music, and voice over artists and want them to have a way of selecting and entering it in the Order Form. Is this possible? How would I go about such a thing without extensive code work?

    Thanks in advance …

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Everything you’ve said above can be accomplished with CaptainForm. Here is a demo I made for you (it took me about 3 minutes): Demo Form

There is no extensive work for this. The videos are simply embedded within a HTML block. Do you have your samples stored online somewhere?

I think we can find a great solution for your request. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, thanks so much for taking the time, I really appreciate it!! Yes I have files online. Your demo was great. It didn’t show me, exactly, that the person can then pick that movie easily somehow and make it drop into the form, able to go on to other parts of the form, but I will assume so.

I don’t expect anything but if you were to ask ….

Since my listing are large, ideally there could be sub groups in the drop down menu … so like Group 1, then the user sees 30 entries, Group 2, etc. but they only show if that group is selected because there would be too many entries showing at one time, so previous groups collapse/disappear.

Ideally there would be a way to let me enter a clear caption around the perimeter/top or bottom of the movie so they can see what it is titled/other info.

More questions. I looked at your pricing and storage.

    1) When my users load up images/videos via your form, they have to get stored by you? They don’t go to wordpress directory? What I really want to do is have them go to my amazon s3/cloudfront set up. What are my options with you – I am concerned about maxing out on my storage quickly when I don’t really want/need it.

    2) I see you go by form views. What protection do I have from some idiot running a program or bot refreshing the page over and over to run up my views?

    Thanks ….

    Hello,

If you have the files online, that’s great because we will simply link them to appear on your form. We can arrange the options for your clients on rows, columns and show or hide them depending on conditional logic. You can add headlines or additional text to any field. You can also select multiple options by using checkboxes.

Do you want your clients to be able to upload files of their own?
We allow unlimited form views, so you don’t need to worry about that. Our platform has strong anti-spam features.

It seems that your scenario is fairly complex. I would like to continue this discussion in private, so I can get more specific details about what you’re trying to do. Could you please send me an email at [email protected]?

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
