Media Image shows as broken icon

    I’m trying to set up EDD for the first time, and am having problems with the plugin creating a broken image icon when the product goes live.

    I am trying to set up a product with an image of what they will get, and on my end in the classic editor it shows up fine, but when I flip to preview, it shows for a minute before turning into a broken icon. I don’t have this anywhere else on my site and have tried reuploading the image, different images etc.

    It’s not live on my site because I couldn’t get any images to show in the product listing. My item is a very visual item and if buyers can’t see it and only see a broken image icon, then it’s not viable.

    Are there any plugins that may not play nice with yours that you know of? Perhaps shortpixel?

    Try right clicking on the broken image then Inspect in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera) and look at how the HTML for the image is created. Perhaps the source of the image in the code is broken and that is why its not loading properly.
