Hello! I’m new to wordpress so talk to me like I’m stupid.

I was using weebly. I created a wordpress site, put it into a subdomain, built it, and then after watching a ton of videos on youtube, figured out how to move the url to the main domain.

Cool, posts, links, blog, everything is working….but the images from the media library.

Galleries that I made with plugins are working still but the images from the media library are not. I’ve tried a million solutions that I’ve found online such as change permissions, update thumbnails, the velvet plugin, etc. I’m going to go crazy!

If I upload a new image, it works but I really don’t feel like manually uploading images AGAIN. (as I had to do from weebly already).

A blog post example is here.

What I figured out is that I moved the main domain folder but the images are still in the subdomain folder.

    So for example:
    https://theglobeisbeautiful.com/1/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/DOJ_2043.jpg
but it is automatically assuming that it is
    https://theglobeisbeautiful.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/DOJ_2043.jpg

Any clues? I’m stumped and frustrated.

    Thanks ahead of time.

Used search and replace plugin and fixed it… Just in case anyone has the same problem ever.
