Media library access

    Hello,

    My “restricted members” don’t have access anymore to the media library I’ve created with all the files. And when I check in Member / Roles / Editors (the role they have), Media files, I just have “Send files” Yes or No but no access to files… Can yu help me?

    Hi Marine,

    Can you double-check that “Upload Files” capability is granted under Members > Roles > Your role > Media tab? This should give access to Media library to your role.

    Yes it is allowed but I have the impression that they can just only access now to their own media they’ve uploaded and not the full media library.

    The “Upload Files” capability should grant access to all files. I created new role with this capability granted and had access to all media files.

    You can check if the cause of this is not some plugin/theme conflict by deactivating all plugins one by one except Members plugin and see if the issue persists. Next, you can also switch to default WP theme.

    unbelievable but I’ve desactivated / reactivated a few plugins and it works again even if the config is the same…
