Media Library Access Control

  • I have added a page which is viewable only by members. On this page, I have a link to a PDF that I’ve stored in my media library. When the member clicks on the PDF file, the link is shown in the web browser (i.e. mywebaddress.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/myPDFfile.pdf). This member can then give this link (to the PDF file in the Media Library) to non-members and the content will still be visible.

    I’ve got the access control on the web pages working but how do you keep content in the Media Library from being visible by non-members?
