Media library all grey but images working
-
Hi,
I’m moving https://partymums-dev.josephmason.com/ over to a dedicated wordpress package on MediaTemple.
I’ve ported this site a couple of times (and others) and had no issues with the media library like this before.
I also cant find exactly the same problem in the forum.
All plugins are deactivated and running TwentyFifteen theme.
I’ve imported the sql, uploaded images to the correct folder /wp-content/uploads/ and check the media library but all images are replaced by a little grey paper icon. When I click in I don’t have the option to edit the file and the images aren’t showing within the page where they should.
Yet, the link to the image does work:

…working link to file.

https://0f7.9d5.mwp.accessdomain.com/I’ve also tried changing folder permissions ( multiple combinations)
One Media Temple support suggested it was because we can only SFTP images up and suggested I use ‘add from server’ plugin – which with over 1GB of images is really slow to use and doesnt actually seem to solve the problem.
Short of manually re-linking all the the images what else can I try?
Thanks for you help
