Media Library and folders ? use

Have a travel website wherein I post daily comments/images for various trips. I have a few hundred images to use per trip to be displayed. Would appreciate some comments on how best to handle the images for the blog.

Should I use a folder system to hold the images, i.e. With the images for a given day I use a gallery tool (Envira) to hold that day’s images.
…Iceland
……Day 1
……Day 2
…Germany
……Day 1
……Day 2

etc.

Or just dump all images into the Media Library with tags and then use a gallery tool as before?
