• I’ve spent a few hours searching here and Google and my DB – can’t find it.

I’ve found several old support posts that says this info is stored in wp_postmeta / attachement – not finding it.

I’m trying to find the DB field for the Media Library / Advanced Options/ Image Title Attribute and Image CSS Class and Link rel and Link CSS Class.

None of these things seem to live in the DB.

Anyone’s help in finding these would be appreciated.

I’m trying to make some global changes to a Link CSS Class

  • Unless you are using a plugin, there are no media fields for css classes.

when I upload an image (no plugin) there are 2 options under “Advanced Options”. Link CSS and Rel

Oh you are referring to the post display settings of an image. Those are just stored in the post content, there isn’t a DB field where you can specifically target those. All that does is change the markup of the post content.

I believe you. Just not sure how there could be a field to fill out – and not have a way to edit it except by going into each individual image. It was almost a great idea..

So, let me present my issue to see if anyone has a workaround. We’ve been putting “lightbox” in the Rel field. I’d like to move that to the Link CSS field so that I don’t have to edit the .js or css files – and it’s the proper place to put it to hopefully future proof our WP data.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

Let me ask (for curiosity sake) – why would we store Alt Tags and not title, captions, Class CSS and REL? Seems shortsighted on the coding side.

I get it adds a few more layers to each image – but we’re already using a Post_ID for the image itself.

Seems in an older version of WP these fields were stored in post_title, post_excerpt. etc.
