Media Library Corruption and Fix

    Hi, folks; great plugin. We use mix of free and pro versions “and loving it.”

    Today on one of our older sites (going back to 2005), we ran the free version to clean the pesky 11,000+ revisions stuck in the dbase for normal house cleaning.

    Oddly, on completion we had a minor corruption where all the images in posts and thumbnails were gone, not loading.

    Solution was to “reinstall” 6.6.1 from the WP > updates page – which fixed it.

    (We did have full backup prior to running, of course; but first time we’ve seen this happen.)

    Just heads up in case anybody else runs into this unusual oddity (PHP 7.4xx).

    Hi, will do. Give me a day or two to export the system file thing. In middle of end of month/first day of month crunch over here (news business). ??

    In backtracking timing, I think there might have been a scheduled story firing off at exact moment I ran the clean, so possible that caused some timeout thing. Not sure. That, so far, is only complementary event. This is the only outlier I can find since all our sites use the same trusted plugins, as well as a custom plugin for code so we don’t have any oddball plugin writing to anything. (You know stuff like turning off “is this still your email?” nags.. ugh.)

    Will follow up in a bit! ??

    Ich habe ein Backup meiner page mit BackupBliss machen wollen, musste aber wegen der Gr??e (3,4GB) vorher die Datenbank bereinigen. Dies tat ich mit dem Plugin advanced-database-cleaner. Heute habe ich ein neues Bild hochgeladen. Der upload funktioniert, aber das Bild wird nicht angezeigt.
    Am Bild (jpg) liegt es nicht. Hat evtl. der database cleaner die datenbank besch?digt?

    Habe eben in WP Medien das hochgeladene Bild, welches nicht angezeigt wird, ausgew?hlt und “Anhang-Seite anzeigen” gedrückt – Fehlermeldung: You don’t have permission to access this resource.

    Bei den Bilder, die vor der Datenbankbereinigung hochgeladen wurden tritt der Fehler nicht auf.

    Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?
