Media Library – Did the WP 4 Update change the Order of StoredImages

With the recent WordPress and twenty ten theme update, did the grid layout result in a change in the order of the images for the way they are stored or delivered to other plugins?

I use Twenty Ten and WP 4 as well as the WP Property plugin.

After updates to all three last week my images are presenting on my pages in reverse order.

Images that use to present on the live site in the order of A-B-C are now presented in the order of C-B-A.

Plugin authors did incorporate an ‘if empty’ conditional into their core function php code but nothing that seems it would change image order – and they say they did not.

I’d be grateful if anyone can comment on if or where WordPress update might have impacted image gallery order. thank you.
