Media Library doesn't show all images

Do you use the wpml media plugin?

Yes that’s the correct url.
Not using wpml media plugin
Just a gray box.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins, did not help.
Changed the theme to Twenty Fourteen, did not change anything Checked permissions and they are correct Created a new WP test site under public_html, and it’s works ok there just not the main WP install.

When you click on the gray box does the attachment details screen open?

Yes, the attachment screen opens.
It does not display the image there either, just a thumbnail of the gray box.

Correction, when I click on the grey box, it opens the attachment details and shows the image there.

Ok, this is strange.
If I edit the image, and rotate it, it activates the save button. When I click save, it displays OK in the Media library.

I try this with a few more and let you know what happens.

If I edit an image, that isn’t displaying in the Media Library, and just flip it vertically and then back, it makes the save button active.
When I save it, it displays correctly in the Media Library

I received an email from the theme developer stating that the problem was in an .htaccess file, and has been fixed.
