• The browser just spins and spins. Nothing happens. In the error_log in the wp-admin folder I’m seeing the following error when trying to access Media Library Folders:

    [22-Jan-2020 22:52:01 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘0’ for key ‘PRIMARY’ for query INSERT INTO wp_mgmlp_folders (post_id, folder_id) VALUES (0, ‘0’) made byactivate_plugin, do_action(‘activate_media-library-plus/maxgalleria-media-library.php’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, MaxGalleriaMediaLib->do_activation, MaxGalleriaMediaLib->activate, MaxGalleriaMediaLib->scan_attachments, MaxGalleriaMediaLib->add_media_folder, MaxGalleriaMediaLib->add_new_folder_parent
    [22-Jan-2020 22:53:09 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in */public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1995

    Our server admin did raise the max execution time in PHP from 30 to 90 seconds and also increased the PHP memory limit but still not seeing a change. This was tested by 3 users in 3 different geographical areas using different PC browsers. Any suggestions?

    Did this issue occur when the plugin was activated? During the first time the plugin is activated, it will scan the contents of the media library for files and folders. If your site has a lot of files in your media library then this could take longer than the time allowed by the max execution time setting (we recommend setting the max execution time to 300 seconds).

    On the Support page of the plugin on your site there is a troubleshooting section that explains what to do when the folder tree does not load. In this case, it is necessary to deactivate Media Library Folder and activate the Media Library Folders Reset plugin that is included with Media Library Folders and click the Database Reset option to clear the existing folder data collected by the plugin. Once cleared, then you can reactivate Media Library Folder and it will do a fresh scan of your media library files. With a higher setting for the max execution time it is likely that scanning process will be fully completed and then the folder tree should load properly.

    Thanks so much for your reply. No this is not a new install. But we did recently migrate from 1 hosting server to another. I can try to deactivate Media Library Folder and activate the Media Library Folders Reset plugin.

    Hello – Do you have any other suggestions? Followed those instructions exactly including increasing max execution time to 300 seconds. When we click on the Media Library Folders nothing happens except for the browser spinning and spinning, trying to bring up the page. Can click on “Settings, Support, Image SEO, Regerate Thumbnails, Upgrade to Pro, Check for New Folders” and get fast display each. Clicking on “Media Library Folders” does nothing.
