Media Library image at wrong location
-
When I use the “Add New” in the Media Library and select a .gif file on my PC using either the flash uploader or browser uploader it says it uploads the file to: [website]/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/filename.gif but it won’t display any image in the media library. I can see the image in the post preview while editing it, but when I publish it, it does not appear.
When I look at my FTP, I can see it actually uploaded the file to: [website]/wordpress/wp-content/filename.gif and
[website]/wordpress/wp-content/filename-150×33.gif
…but still nothing is put in the /uploads/ folder… The only way I can get it to work is by editing the html tag and specifying an absolute path to where I placed the image on the server thereby entirely bypassing the media library.…I have tried to switch back to the standard theme just in case, but the same error occurs… ???
