Media library images disappeared today

  • This morning all images jpg and png are not showing in media library. They appear if go into edit. I also have pdfs in the media file.

    In IE8 images do not appear at all
    In Chrome and FF some images show on front page of blog, but if click to other posts, images will not display

    All was working fine yesterday as I was able to add png images.

  • Hi,
    Did you ask your host if they have a problem going on? Because your site loads quite slow.
    Most of the images indicate they are simply missing from wp-content/images/year/month/ on your server.

    Can you verify through an FTP connection or through your host’s admin panel if the images are really on the server in the folders I indicated?

    Can you via the same route delete those last .png’s and re-upload from your backup the other images to the proper folder (if they are realy missing)?

    Thanks for the suggestion. I will contact the host as I have just learnt they have upgraded their server.

    Found the problem. Was with another program
