Media library images not showing up when adding new post?

  • I have images uploaded in my media library. But when I want to add a post I see no images when adding media. The library seems empty.
    Do I need to upload images for every post or is there a way to share my library across the site?
    I disabled th “save per month in seprate folder”s all images sit in the same directory.

  • Is the media library empty when you insert pictures into the editor?
    Or when you insert a picture into a custom field?
    Or always?
