Media Library is missing all thumbnails when Media Rename is activated

When I activate Media Rename and want to add or edit product gallery images on a product’s page, the Media Library is completely blank, so no thumbnails appear at all. When I deactivate the plugin, I do see my Library images. I wondered why that was happening. Thank you.
