• Hi,

Since the new update of wp 5.5.1, I’m not able to add new images on my library. I read different option and installed plugins that some people said it will work but it didn’t fix the issue for me. I also ictesead php upload and memory limit but no luck. I also tried to describe all the plugins and changing to basic wp theme I still experience the issue. My server is charging me a lot of money to them to check it and they keep saying that is wp issues.

Please take a look into it. I have seen people complaining about the same issue.

This is the error message I’m getting: Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.

Try MANUALLY updating and see if it fixes the issue. Download WordPress again and unzip it, and use that to copy up. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. (NOTE: do not delete the?wp-content?directory or your?wp-config.php?file). Please read the Manual Update directions first.

Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups! See
