Media Library is Very Slow

    Our Media Library have about 2k Images, When I click on Add “Open with Media Library” it takes about 30 sec to load, Is there anyway to make it load faster?

  • Are only the first 80-90 entries displayed after it has been loaded – or all of them?

    Have a look under Tools > Site Health to see if any anomalies are mentioned there.

    @threadi thanks for your reply, the first 80 images and there is nothing in site health only the warning that there in object cach

    Then you have to rule out other causes.

    Deactivate all plugins as a test. If it then works faster, it was due to one of the plugins. Then activate them bit by bit until it is sluggish again.

    If that doesn’t help, try switching to a standard theme such as TwentyTwentyFour. If that doesn’t help either, then it’s probably more a question of performance on the hosting.
