Media Library missing after migration

Hello,
I am admittedly new at this, and I seem to have made a mistake in the way I migrated my WP site from a subfolder into a root folder. The site is mostly fine. I used Velvet Blues Update plugin and have access to my dashboard, but when I open the media library it is empty and I cannot upload any new files. I also can’t seem to search for plugins from the dashboard (I can upload the zip files), and I cannot update my plugins.

My media files are in the uploads folder, but my library isn’t finding them. I am not a developer, I am an architect (the building kind, not the software kind), so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
