Media Library not loading correctly in 4.4

  • I uploaded 6 images to my WordPress media library, then deleted them so that I could re-Photoshop them. Then I uploaded them to the media library again, but the old, non-existent image files keep uploading. The new 6 images do not load into the library! The old images are no longer on my computer. I have flushed the cache from the WP dashboard with no luck.

    The really odd thing is that if I upload one of the new images, then click “edit image”, it appears correctly, but once it is placed on a page or in a table (tablepress) it is the old, previous image. There seems to be no way in image edit mode to save it.

    Anyone have any idea what is going on?

    Ok, so I just played around with the Media Library some more….if I add the image once, it is the wrong one (and no longer on my computer) but if I add it a SECOND time, the correct image loads into the library. So I had to add all 6 images twice, then delete the “old” ones. This is after flushing the cache. Seems like a 4.4 bug to me?
