Media Library not loading since the latest update

Hi, i use polylang and since the last update i have noticed the following issue: i go to Posts – choose a post to edit – choose a featured image – here opens the window with my pics – there are no pics! Just like if my library would be empty! but its not… When i just go to Media there are all the pics, but when i try to set a featured image for a post, there are no pics! im sure that this plugin is the issue, because when i disactivate it, everything works…but i really need this plugin so please tell me what to do or fix it, please! thank you!
