Media Library not working

    I have several problems with media library.
    1. Uploading image to library stucks on “Crunching…” with “multi-file uploader”
    With “browser uploader” is it working
    2. Media library stucks showing images in grid mode.
    In list view it is working.

    I disabled all plugins, changed theme – no help.

    I am unable to add images to posts or select featured image.
    Any help will be appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I found the problem. The site was altered by virus. The virus was inside of script: wp-load.php.
