    Hi.
I recently transferred a website from a domain to another.
After moving, I was missing pictures from both the media libraries of wordpress and elementor.
I managed to fix the media library of wordpress with a plugin (called Fix Media Library), but images are still missing in elemetor media library.

Is there any way to fix it? maybe a plugin?
    thanks
    Michele

  • Go to Elementor > Tools > Replace URL and enter your old and new domains into the form fields. Please make a backup before doing this, and enter the information in carefully. This should replace any URL changes that may have been missed in the migration process.

    Hi cavalierife
    thank you for your answer.
I did it immediately after moving the website.
It probably helped other parts, but not the media library.

There still a mismatch between the media library of wordpress and the media library of Elementor. When, for example, I try to add a background image, I see only a little portion of all the images available on the wp media library.

    Any other suggestion?

If they didn’t all transfer over, you might need to re-migrate. I don’t know how you did the migration, but sometimes a very large site requires special attention. Here is an article that describes two ways to migrate. https://elementor.com/blog/site-migration/

After failing to download, update manually urls, and upload (like I usually do) sql files, I tried the first way of your linked guide, and it seemed to work (no errors) but there is the result.

Thank you again for your help!

    Yay!

Can anyone confirm that there is no way to fix the media library of elementor?
We can still re-upload all the elements manually, but we’d like to avoid it.

I must have misunderstood. I thought you meant it worked now, based on what you said there. But I’m guessing now that you are asking for other suggestions that it didn’t work?

It did not returned errors, but the website resulted buggy.

Sorry I found what was gave the problem.
It was not related to elementor, but to a plugin called polylang.
With that plugin, if you upload an image under a language in elementor, you cannot see that same image when opening the media library of elementor in another language.

    sorry!
