Media library only showing a few images

  • I did a full reinstall of WordPress on my site. I backed it up prior to doing so. I have imported the backup and even transferred some files via FTP. Even though I have uploaded every image from my library, there are only a few that are showing. What is causing this and is there any way to fix it? Thanks.

  • Okay that’s not it have you done the “deactivate cache” and do you reload on the affected page?

    The only thing I saw is disable cache. I did that and reloaded the page. Still not working. I opened another browser, logged in, and have the same issue.

    hmm unfortunatily I am out of ideas for remote maintenance

    I appreciate it. Like I said, when I look at the directory via FTP, the media files are all there. Not sure why they won’t display in the media library. Thanks for the help.

    Well, I still cannot see the images in my library. They are there. But now, I see a bunch of blank thumbnails which appear to be a bunch of .png files. Those files were in the root library directory. I deleted those and they still appear. Very annoying.
