• Does anyone have a recommendation for a plugin to organize a PDF/media library? Basically, my client has about 80 product publications that they need to make available to their customers. It has to be easy for them to use. I want to set up a page that will list all the products. This plugin will have to a allow the user to:
    -create categories for the PDFs
    -upload PDFs
    -assign them each a name
-permit them to put them in specific order
-automatically render the list with categories on their “Literature” page.

Here is the link to that page on their old site (not WordPress):

The new site will be a WP site and needs to offer this functionality.

    Thanx!

  • Why not just leave the directory with all the PDFs in it alone or duplicate it on the new host if your plans include a server change.

Now copy and paste the content of the page you linked to above and paste the same to a new page in your WordPress. I’d just name the page literature. You’ll have what they have now.

You can then fancy that up if you wish with individual pages or whatever you want.

    Thanx for your response, J…

Yes, I understand that. That is fine if I was maintaining this site after dlivery. But going forward, my client will need to add and delete publications and they have no experience with WP or HTML. I need a plugin to automate this.
