Media Library pro not working with 5.8

My workaround is to deactivate the plug in when I insert images and activate it when I upload and classify new images in the media library.

For my simple use it is enough but I hope it will be fixed. I can not search media categories now, only by image names.

I have no experience of downgrading WP so I leave that for a while.

A new version with the fix is just released. I am very sorry for all the inconvenience caused!

Please don’t worry about losing categories. EML uses WP native taxonomy mechanism, all your data is stored in the database like any other taxonomy data. So, even in case you deactivate EML all your categories will remain as is. You just need to activate the plugin later or use custom code to get to them.

To delete all plugin data including categories created you have to intentionally push the big red button with the big warning in plugin’s Utility page.
