With WordPress Hosting Benchmark tool active …/wp-admin/media-new.php redirects to …/wp-admin/upload.php. No error message, no issues in site health. Uploading media as attachment when editing a post still works.

Since about 2 weeks I’m seeing this on both my websites.

site 1: Version 1.3 / WP 5.9.3 / Avada v7.7.1 many other plugins and caching
    site 2: Version 1.3 / WP 5.9.3 / Enfold 4.4.1 fewer plugins, no caching

Deactivating WordPress Hosting Benchmark tool turns Media Library add new back to normal.

IMHO the same as the previous topic, but adding my case there appeared to be against the forum rules.

Given that you say it redirects, I wonder if we both have some htaccess redirect going on. I’ll check mine later today. Yet, the fact that we both have this issue with the same plugin does suggest it is the plugin in some way.

No, I do not have a redirect in my .htaccess.

I call it a redirect because the URL under ‘Add New’ is …/wp-admin/media-new.php but I end up on …/wp-admin/upload.php. But there could be a whole chain of scripts in between. My knowledge of PHP very limited.

I have found one issue, that was causing the redirect, but it must be some internal WordPress either bug or fix or something. Anyway – I have rewritten that part and now it should be working better. Please try yourself and let me know. ??

@antonaleksandrov Yes, the 1.3.1 update solved the problem, thanks!
