    Hi, I am currently using the free plugin version of Ad Inserter 2.4.9 with the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme and all plugins have just been updated.

    I’ve made 5 ad blocks so far which are working well but when I insert the following Media.net script into block 6 it will not save and returns a blank page with an # in the top left of the blank page. When I go back to ad inserter nothing has been saved in the block 6.

    <script id=”mNCC” language=”javascript”>
    medianet_width = “300”;
    medianet_height = “250”;
    medianet_crid = “423754266”;
    medianet_versionId = “3111299”;
    </script>
    <script src=”//contextual.media.net/nmedianet.js?cid=8CU9KR951″></script>

    I have tested the above by inserting directly into a post page and the ads are displayed fine but the above will not save in Ad Inserter?

    Thanks,
    Laura

    It looks like something is preventing this code from saving.

    This might be some security plugin, website security settings or webs server security settings (mod_security).
    Try to disable all security plugins and if this doesn’t help I suggest to contact hosting company to check server settings.

    Hi, I’m waiting on a response back from Media.net as it does say in their settings that for SSL protected sites they provide SSL compliant code.
    I’m hoping that is the cause of the <script> not saving in the block, i’ll check with the hosting provider otherwise & update here.

    Thanks

    Media.net have confirmed that their <script> code I’ve been putting in Ad Inserter is already SSL compliant so I contacted my Hosting provider who were very helpful and it was a security plugin I’m using that is preventing the code from saving. They helped set up the .htaccess for this and the Media.net <script> now saves OK in Ad Inserter. The only downside is that I have to disable my security plugin each time I want to add/edit these Media.net ads & then re-enable it after I have saved the ad changes.

    Thanks for your help with this @spacetime the media.net ads are now on the site!
