My images will no longer upload to my WordPress site. I get as far as the green upload status bar going all the way to “100%” but that’s where it gets stuck. No error messages. I disabled all plugins associated with the library and it still does not work. Any ideas?

How are you doing against your disk usage quota? How much free disk space is left on your server? Please contact your host to see if this is a disk space issue.

When I look at my hosting package details, I see the following that look relevant to disk usage:

    Web Disk Space 209 / 300000 MB

MySQL Database Disk Space 300 / 7500 MB

It looks like I have plenty of space.

That assumes, of course, that there’s actually space on the server, so check with your host about that.

When you try to updload a file, doe sit appear in wp-contents/uploads/whatever? If it does, do you also see the derivative images (e.g., filename-150×150.jpg)?

It doesn’t even get that far. There is nothing in the applicable wp-contents/uploads/ folder.

The process is that WP uploads the file to a temp directory. When the upload is complete, it copies it to permanent location, then creates the derivative images. That you don’t get tot he 2nd step makes me think that it’s a hosting problem.

Thanks, I have contacted Network Solutions to see if they can offer any insight.
