It is probably because the URL field is incorrect.
In the URL field, you must put the URL of the live Joomla site.

    I have checked your settings.
?If you want to use the File System method, both Joomla and WordPress must be located on the same server. And you must enter the path of the Joomla files in the field “?Joomla base directory”. Currently, this field is empty.

i have both sites, on the same server. I have tried both variants -HTTP and files system- at test connection says connection successful, but it doesn’t copy any media file…so why??

It is because your original Joomla site is broken. So the images can’t be transferred by HTTP.
If you want to use the File System method, you must fill in the field “Joomla base directory” with the full directory where Joomla is stored on the server.

can you please give me an examplet of “Joomla base directory- with the full directory where Joomla is stored on the server.” it is in the public_html?
I have access to joompla website. it is working.
Here is the log of the error:
[ERROR] Can’t copy https://calitatedecincistele.fcasec.ro/images/pass/mobtemplate_en (8)_Page_4.jpg to /home/dreampictures/domains/xyz.dreampictures.ro/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/mobtemplate_en-8_Page_4.jpg : file_get_contents(images/images/pass/mobtemplate_en (8)_Page_4.jpg): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory

You can find the good directory when you connect through FTP or through SSH to the Joomla server.
If you provide the FTP access through the ticket you have already opened, we could check it.

Your images are transferred correctly now if you use the FTP connection.

Please note that only the images related to an article are transferred.
