MEDIA not Inserting in pages of ANY website

  • For some unknown reason I cannot insert Media into ANY page or Post.

    I have the SAME problem with

      ALL

    websites I am Hosting!

    So this is a really weird problem that I have never seen before. Usually if this occurs it is to a particular Website and can be pinned down to a Plugin Conflict or the like.

    But this is on numerous websites I have Hosted.

    I can Upload images, but cannot insert the images into the page.

    I have emptied the Cache on my browser, tried Firefox, Chrome, IE. Emptied the Cache on all. The problem still exists.

    Turned off the computer, Turned off the Modem. Rebooted, The problem is still there.

    had problems with my Hosting provider. ie: My IP address keeps getting banned because they have introduced new Security. But they have since Whitelisted my IP.

    Could my Hosting provider be somehow blocking images from being inserted in WordPress? for my IP address? seems far fetched, but I’ll look at all suggestions.

  • I’d like to know more about this one. It sounds like you went through all the normal measures.

    By uploading you’re getting past the “host” end of it I would think. Have you tried the horrible but maybe necessary fresh install staging site just for testing? Have you done a plugin conflict test? You mention that it could be that but I was just wondering if you ran the test or not.

    When you say that you cannot insert an image into a page, what exactly do you mean by that. Can you drop them in and they don’t load in the back end, or can you put them in the editor and they just don’t show on the front end?
