Media not uploading in update 3.8.1

  • Having trouble with new version wordpress 3.8.1 – will not load media now in any fashion…receiving this: greyphoto_1.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/01. Does not copy as .jpg but as this file:beswinIMG_56621

    Can anyone please help? If it is permissions, where do I find this file to correct?
