I am using the regular version.
I still havent managed to fix it and have asked other user’s to try it out and they also get the same result.

The above is a broken media link when changing to prettier permalink (post name)

The above work, however this permalink setting is on plain.
I have rolled elementor versions back to 3.1.0 – None work
The version that does work is 3.0.9
The things I have tried:
Deactivating Elementor = Works perfectly
Rolling back to version 3.0.9 = Works perfectly
Checked permission on my htaccess file = fine
Contacted my host = They couldnt resolve
Fresh install of WP with variety of themes, with only Elementor plugin active = Doesnt work
Several hours of research = Fail
It is not an issue my end, as you can see from my test results.
It would be great if you could simply try the following steps, then you will see the issue in action on free version
1. Fresh/no active plug in’s for up to date WP
2. Install Elementor
3. Change permalink setting to post name
4. Upload an image to the media library
5. Click the permalink slug and tell me if you get a broken link
