• Hi,

    when wanting to upload an image into one of our clients websites the media library does not load, therefore we can’t see our images/pdfs etc. and we get an upload fail error when trying to upload to the library. Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

    We have also tried to update the plugins but we get the following errors with the ones we are trying to update:

    Update Failed: @media screen and (max-height: 575px){ #rc-imageselect, .g-recaptcha {transform:scale(0.77);-webkit-transform:scale(0.77);transform-origin:0 0;-webkit-transform-origin:0 0;} } {“success”:true,”data”:{“update”:”plugin”,”slug”:”uk-cookie-consent”,”oldVersion”:”Version 2.3.9″,”newVersion”:”Version 2.3.11″,”plugin”:”uk-cookie-consent\/uk-cookie-consent.php”,”pluginName”:”Cookie Consent”}}

    Update Failed: @media screen and (max-height: 575px){ #rc-imageselect, .g-recaptcha {transform:scale(0.77);-webkit-transform:scale(0.77);transform-origin:0 0;-webkit-transform-origin:0 0;} } {“success”:false,”data”:{“update”:”plugin”,”slug”:”glue-for-yoast-seo-amp”,”oldVersion”:”Version 0.4.3″,”newVersion”:””,”plugin”:”glue-for-yoast-seo-amp\/yoastseo-amp.php”,”pluginName”:”Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP”,”errorMessage”:”Plugin update failed.”}}

    Any help is appreciated,
    thanks.

  • Hello @teamvolta,
    Where do you see this errors?

    Hi @dorzki,

    the media upload error is either when i’m uploading an image directly into the media library via wordpress dashboard or when i’m editing within a page and need to upload an image. It seems stuck on loading the images or fails.

    The plugin error shows when I go into plugins and click ‘update’ on a plugin, it seems to start the update but then the error appears in red underneath the plugin name where it would usually say ‘upload successful’ in green.

    Thanks.

    It seems like either one plugin causes this issue, do you recall what you have done before the issue happened? maybe you updated a plugin or something?

    Hey @teamvolta,

    You should try checking the folder permissions for UPLOADS. It should be 755.

    Otherwise, you should try deactivating all the plugins.

    Update:

    We have deactivated all plugins and the issues still arise. WordPress and PHP are all up to date with the latest versions.

    thanks.

    Hi @teamvolta,
    Ok can you also change to a different theme?
