Problem with my media files

Hello everyone, so today i was editing the path to the “media files” and i couldn’t get it to work properly, i could’t get a new path to work on a new folder that wasn’t the default one “/wp-admin/content”, anyways so since it didn’t work i decided to change it back to the default one, and it works good, only thing is that when i changed it back to the default path, half of the settings for the “media” settings are gone! how is this possible, i can not re-edit the path for the “uploads” folder anymore because that section is just gone, any ideas?
