Media settings warning

    Hi all,

    I really search for answer and tried of 3 hours with no luck… hope someone can help.
    After the installation, I got this message at the last stage of installer:

    MEDIA SETTINGS WARNING: The table ‘wp_options’ has at least one the following values [‘upload_url_path’,’upload_path’] set please validate settings. These settings can be changed in the wp-admin by going to Settings->Media area see ‘Uploading Files’

    and the page online show

    fatal error require function…..

    Those file is successfully copy from online to localhost, but it didn’t work in reverse.
    Now my website is down,

    When I open the package zip file, i found one of the file is still not extract with a long name. It don’t know how to deal with this? I know it has to be extracted, anyone can let me know how to deal with this in this condition?

  • Hey Cliff,

    Thanks for the feedback! If you can give the developer version a try it has a scanner built in that will allow you to locate all the long file names so that you can filter them out and exclude them. The very latest version can be found by following these instructions:

    -> Browse to https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/duplicator/developers/
    -> Look for the section “Other Versions”
    -> Click on “Development Version” and download the zip plugin file
    -> Uninstall your current version and install this one
    -> Note: This is a development line version so please test in your sandbox first to make sure you have no issues…

    Hi,

    I just do it again and remove the WP total cache, run it again, and delete most unused plugin. It works perfectly now.

    I’m getting the same error:

    MEDIA SETTINGS WARNING: The table ‘wdp_options’ has at least one the following values [‘upload_url_path’,’upload_path’] set please validate settings. These settings can be changed in the wp-admin by going to Settings->Media area see ‘Uploading Files’

    But I can’t access the original site as the hosting provider closed down, so this is the only copy of the duplicated files I have. How do I fix this?
    When I go to the site I get the following error:

    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Most of those settings are in your wp-config.php so you will need to double check all values closely…

    The other is related to your web servers permissions. You might checkout this page. The FAQ also has some ideas for 404s.
