Media & Text Slider image alignment options are not functional

    I’ve set up a Media & Text slider. Under General settings for the block, when I set the Vertical alignment to Bottom, the text still appears to be in the middle of the block. Likewise, when I set the horizontal alignment to Right, the heading and paragraph text are still to the left of center.

    How can I fix the alignment so that it is truly left and bottom? I have adjusted the margin so that the text is is pushed farther to the right, but if it was truly aligned-right it would look better on more devices.

    Note that the first slide doesn’t have text so check the third and fifth slides.

    I am replacing the banner on heatherhavenstories.com, in case that helps to see what I am trying to do.

    Sorry for the delayed response and sorry to hear that you faced such an issue. 

    But I would like to inform you that I managed to reproduce it locally and I have already informed our developers about it. 

    So I hope they come up with the solution in the nearest plugin release. We let you know if we receive some updates on this matter.

    I hope you’re doing well.

    Please be informed that we checked this block’s functionality one more time and would like to say that this is expected block behavior. 

    Here’s why: it appeared that this block’s content has paddings that initially prevent content from being vertically aligned when the block height is too short. So, in order to actually see this option work, you need to set the “Slider Minimum Height” value to at least 300 pixels. 

    Try it out and let me know if it works for you.
