Media upload: Choose the server

  • Hi,

    Im working for a big dutch blog for youth, but because of all the traffic we bought a second media server to upload images, video’s etc. But is it possible to ‘choose’ which server you want to use in the WordPress uploader? (switching)

  • I’ve occasionally hosted images elsewhere but simply used the url/http option in the Media Library to pull them in.

    There is no option at the time of media upload to choose the server but you can use the image/media upload from URL and provide the full path of the media which is uploaded on media server..
