Media Upload isn't workin

  • Im trying to upload a few photos, and after updating wordpress, when I click the “upload media” button, the dialog box no longer comes up for me to choose the file I want to upload.

    Here is the list of plug-ins I have installed and activated:

    SEO Facebook Comments
    Simply Poll
    Social Connect
    WP-PhotoContest
    WP Hide Dashboard

    Also, my -content is set to 777 for permissions

    Turn off all your plugins and try again.

    just a note on this – it took me forever and a day to find the right plugins, get them the way I want them to work. I did turn off all mine – and the problem (same as above) continues.
    what good is offering plugins if when wp is upgraded we lose them all and have to start all over again??!?
    seriously people!
