media upload need to remove link text that appeared

  • All of a sudden right in the middle of building one of my pages on my site, while i was adding you tube on the media area this damn poop stain thing happened, all of a sudden i have this link text under it and it will not let me up load video media anymore.

    i have spent 3 f’ing days attempting all kinds of things to remove it……..

    can someone please tell me what to do before i throw my computer out the window and flip out. would like to finish this damn site already leaving in the 15th for a month………..

    Can you show us a page with the problem?

    it is on every page and blog post.

    it is where the media place is. i have no idea how to show you…….however it will not allow me to put a video url video on those pages or blog posts.

    so you have your copy, then you open the media center and you choose url media posting. you paste it in and it will not come up anymore. and what i noticed is that there is a box with link text on that media url upload page now, just came out of no where.

    on every new page and update on the page, it is not affecting the stuff already on them. and all new blogs……..if i add any video or url media.

    i was reading that back 8 years ago that the 3.5.1 update was suppose to fix the issue. obviously it is back??? and i have not had my site that long maybe 2 years.

    and i tried to reinstall jet pack and word stuff to see if it would take care of it and no such luck. tried coding with no luck and to be honest i do not think many people get this problem??? and seems to be a serious lack of help for it.

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Fifteen/ Fourteen theme to see whether it could an issue with your theme.
