Media upload won't work

  • I’m suddenly unable to upload Media on my website via Media, which comes already installed on WordPress, yet I can use plugins such as Photo Gallery and Gallery Bank. Trouble is both of those are galleries, I want to upload single images into a calendar and also my blog.
    Anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What is prevent you from uploading media? Do you see an error? If so, would you please quote the error?

    Yes an error message comes up, it says An error occurred in the upload, please try again later.

    Not only that but customers cannot click on and view entries on Spider Calendar, Gallery Bank or Photo Gallery. The images just won’t load or with Gallery Bank they half load at the bottom of the screen and move down further when I try to scroll down to view them.

    It is as though all my media is shutting down.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
