Media uploaded to incorrect year/month

    In Settings, we have the option set to load media by year/month.
    While editing a page, if we add new media, it is loaded to 2011/12 instead of the current 2017/4.
    I have checked that the wp-config.php does not modify the uploads location.
    Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how we can get the media upload to use the current year/month?

  • Uploading any media to a page/ost/etc uses the publish date of that post as the date for the folder structure. I don’t know of a way around that, but I haven’t looked for it before as it’s never been something that I’ve needed.

    Many thanks – I’ll just update the publish date when I update the page and everything should fall into place.
