Media uploader freezes mid upload

  • When using the single file or multi upload media loader it freezes during the first photo and never finishes. I’ve seen an HTML error listed but with no more detail. Huge PATA and I’m hoping someone can help.

    I’ve cleared my cache and tried other browsers to no success.

    Site is running on MacHighway with a custom theme called Dignity Child

    What other steps have you taken?

    Have you tried deactivating all plugins, using a different browser, or perhaps switching themes? If that didn’t resolve it, have you contacted your hosting company just in case it may be a server issue?

    I’ve tried 3 other browsers but haven’t tried the plugin deactivation. How would you recommend I test to see if’s a wordpress or hosting company issue? If I switch themes I’ll lose all the customizations I paid a designer to make so that option is out. Thanks Jose for the help and let me know what you think.

    You can switch right back.

    Try deactivating all the plugins first and see if that resolves the issue.
